Philip R. Stern is a Wealth Strategist affiliated with WealthPilot Financial (WPF). With over 24 years of experience assisting clients in the application and implementation of their financial plans, he is an integral member of WPF’s multi-faceted team. He works in concert with Founder, Nick Meyers and is responsible for ensuring the successful integration of the proprietary Financial Confidence Continuum™ process that WPF employs in helping clients achieve their objectives. Phil’s extensive knowledge in estate preservation, business continuity/exit strategies, compensation design for executives and employees, income taxation, portfolio construction, and retirement income distribution planning makes him a valuable asset to both the clients and the firm. He is a regular guest lecturer on personal finance in the Life Strategies course (ENTP 299) at the Close School of Entrepreneurship, Drexel University.
He entered the financial services profession with Lincoln Financial Advisors in 1992 (formerly CIGNA Financial Advisors) after spending seven years in public accounting, including three years with Ernst & Young. Philip graduated with honors from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also earned his MBA (Finance) at the University of Hartford.
Philip attained the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, both from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Philip has served on the Lincoln Financial Advisors Regional Directors of Financial Planning Advisory Board and has been active in the national design of company-wide financial planning software. He has spoken at company and industry training seminars throughout the country. Philip has been interviewed by the New York Times and has been recognized annually by Lincoln Financial Advisors as a Premier Partner. Lincoln's Premier Partners Program is an internal designation based in part on assets under management, sales and compliance criteria.
Philip and his wife, Heidi, reside in Meadowbrook, PA with their two daughters.
